And fall apart, and start again

“And fall apart, and start again,” is nasty. The characters are just perfect. It’s so totally captivating there are moments that are so Jim you’d think that Gatiss or Moffat couldn’t do better. It’s quite angsty at the end. But this has got to be a favourite of mine.

Burning Moon

A superbly written Moriarty/Sebastian fic. “Burning Moon,” is short, the prose is gorgeous, it reads like poetry but better. I could read it over and over. It can’t be healthy to like fanfics this much. Heck it can’t be healthy to like Moriarty this much. Oh well.

The Past that Makes Us

Mostly Jim Moriarty and Sebastian Moran, but there is plenty of superbly written John and Sherlock in it too. It’s actually an amazing piece of writing. I’d read this over and over. It plays with Jim and Seb as characters a bit, maybe my only criticism, but it works. They have a whole past for Jim, amazing, and horrible.

Eyes Like a Dead Puppy

Druggy, crazy, pretty… It’s a little foreshadowing of The Reichenbach Fall, probably as they wrote it after. Rooftops and Sebastian/Moriarty madness. Very visual if that makes any sense. Creepy as anything, but not too violent unlike some of the others.


Exploitation and Abbreviation

How Jim and Sebastian meet. It’s great. It’s actually funny. It’s just really good. I’m so bad at writing synopses. I’ll shhh up now.
